IntroductionThe UK AVS+UNIRAS USER GROUP (UAUUG) is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to serving the AVS and UNIRAS user community. The UAUUG is totally independent from Advanced Visual Systems. The UAUUG is the result of the merger of the formerly separate UK AVS User Group and UNIRAS UK User Group. The combined and renamed UAUUG began its formal existence at the 1997 annual meeting. The UAUUG organises, among other things, events of interest to members including an annual conference and technical briefing days. The UAUUG maintains a web site containing useful information and resources. The former UUUG produced a regular Journal. We are particularly keen to encourage commercial organisations to join. Our membership fee is small (currently zero and likely to remain so for the foreseeable future) and covers your whole institution. We feel quite strongly that membership of the User Group is of benefit to all AVS and Uniras users and that the interaction between members from commercial and academic sectors is especially useful. Joining the UAUUGFor the time being, subscription fees have been set to zero so all you need to do to join the User Group is fill in this online form.
