UK AVS+UNIRAS User Group Annual Conference

Easthampstead Park Conference Centre, Wokingham, Berkshire.
The first day will be hosted by AVS, who will be offering a clinic
to current AVS licensed (including CHEST licensees) users who wish
to discuss specific projects or issues. This clinic will be free of
charge but will be by appointment only. If you would like to schedule
a clinic timeslot please contact
Dee Holmes or your Account Manager to arrange a suitable
appointment. AVS are also happy to receive any data definitions or
outline requirements in advance in order to make better use of the
time on the day.
The first day will also see
the User Group AGM and the Conference Dinner
The second day starts with a morning introduction to visualization,
cave painting and the human visual system. and a keynote talk
exploring the development of Virtual Reality applications at Brunel
University. The afternoon keynote talk describes the use of AVS in the areas of physical and
chemical research, and portable VR systems in Japan.
The 'Buddy" scheme introduced at the 2003 conference, whereby 1 supervisor or CHEST
site representative attending the conference at "full price"
could bring along a free student/user, will apply for this conference. There is a limit of 10
free places.
