A Simple Journey of the Photon to a Human Visual Concept
Over the last thirty years the early stages of the Human Visual System, after extensive experiments, has been pieced together to form a possible theory of how we see. The human eye and brain is one of the most impressive bio-optical devices around, but due to natural limitations has many flaws left over from the evolutionary process that created it. This short talk will indicate some of the short-comings of the visualization system we use every tenth of a second, and possibly indicate why and where computer visualization systems at times fail, but also areas that can be exploited.
